Hello St. Mary's parents,
- We successfully concluded another memorable Catholic Schools Week. Many thanks to the staff, volunteers, religious, community members, students and parents who made it a wonderful experience, despite the sub-zero temperatures.
- This week Friday, Feb. 10 we have a half day and 11am dismissal.
- Since we did not have a Pajama Day on Friday, the teachers have agreed to move it this Friday with an optional Color Day, including movies and popcorn.
- Likewise, if we will move the sledding at Brady Park to another date either this week or next, but will need a renewed permission slip form, as the first ones expired last week. Please fill out the permission slip that was emailed to you and return it. We will announce the date and time by Wednesday.
- We need 2 volunteers March 3 from 8am-10am for kindergarten roundup. Please contact the office if you are interested in assisting with that.
- The regional spelling bee will be taking place on Thursday February 16, at 3:45pm (3:30 registration) at St. Ignace Middle School. We are sending some strong competitors to the bee. Please also give some prayer support to them for a successful showing!
- Moreover, if 5th-8th grade students want to start studying for the religion bee, it is predicted to be about the same time as last year (May 9th) with many of the same questions. Please contact the office or your teacher for the questions if interested.
- Registration is filling up much faster than expected for this time of year, and there is still roughly a week left in the "Sweet Deal" discount which ends Feb 14th. Don't miss the chance to enroll now why this year's rate is still being offered. Please return it to the office this week!
