Monday Letter

Hello St. Mary's Catholic school parents,

Progress reports went out last week.  Please contact your student's teacher if you have any questions or concerns.  We are here to partner with you and help your student(s) succeed.

To new families, please note that some St. Mary's students have peanut allergies and so we ask that you don't pack and send peanut containing foods e.g. peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with your student(s).  Thank you for your consideration.

Wednesday (10/12) our school will be participating in the Walk & Roll to School Day.  Walk & Roll to School Day | Safe Routes to School (saferoutesmichigan.org)  We will meet at 7:30am at Ashmun and Portage to walk to school together and Teachers will stay at school to welcome students.

Friday (10/14) there will be no school, as it is a Professional Development (PD) day for teachers.  Enjoy the three day weekend.

We will be celebrating All Saints' Day in about 3 weeks.  Students will dress up as Saints and parade around school and into the church for Mass on that day.  It has always been a great school tradition, I know the Teachers are looking forward to seeing all the creative costumes this year!

May God give you His every grace and blessing,
In Christ,
Tim Vail
